About Us
Let’s Heal Together (LHT) is a relational and sexual health business, founded by licensed relationship therapists and certified sex therapists, Jeremiah Gibson and Julia Postema. We specialize in coaching couples in which one or both partners grew up in high-control religious environments, helping them build healthy, fulfilling relationships.
In addition, we offer support groups for individuals navigating faith transitions—whether they are moving into a less restrictive spiritual practice or leaving religion entirely. We also equip clergy and therapists with the resources and training needed to foster relational and sexual health in their communities.
Who We Are.
Jeremiah Gibson and Julia Postema bring over 30 years of combined experience in relationship counseling. As psychotherapists and certified sex therapists, they specialize in helping couples, families, and individuals who are leaving—or considering leaving—high control religious groups. With personal backgrounds in these communities, Jeremiah and Julia are uniquely equipped to guide others through the healing process.

Julia is an independently licensed clinical social worker and certified sex therapist. Julia has provided relational and family therapy in numerous contexts, including Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, private group practices, community based mental health agencies, and was a clinical site supervisor at Franciscan Hospital for Children.
Outside of work, Julia is a decent amateur cook (who does not follow recipes) and an avid runner who has qualified for and run the Boston Marathon.
One of her proudest honors was receiving the title of “Best Cannoli Customer in Utrecht” while living in The Netherlands for two years.
In another life, Julia was either a double agent/spy or a standup comedian. On a regular basis, she grieves that she will never again watch Breaking Bad.
Long distance hiking with Jeremiah is her favorite activity.

“Julia has played an incredibly instrumental role in not only keeping us together as a couple but also in learning to thrive. We rave about her so much to our friends and family that some have started to see her too! She has top-notch clinical skills (one of us is a therapist), but our sessions feel very warm and conversational. We can’t recommend her highly enough!”
